Price Range Ratio - a tool showing the ratio of a stock's share price to its yearly range. The Price Range Ratio shows where the current price is relative to its 52-week price range (where a ratio of 0 indicates a stock is at its 52 Week Low, and 100 indicates a stock at a 52 Week High). This can be a useful tool to indicate which stocks are potentially positioned to trend higher or lower. This makes for more effective investment planning. It is also useful to look for stocks that may be over or under- valued to build a portfolio. It is possible to select various markets such as the Russell 1000, S&P 500, DOW and NASDAQ as well as EU stocks, sectors, industries and countries to analyse. Data from this analysis can be transferred to a watchlist or used for back-testing investment ideas.
